Mark Sahm grew up in Glassboro, NJ, where he was an honors student, state place-winning wrestler, and president of his Senior Class. He earned his bachelor’s degree  in Creative Studies (a dual major of fine arts and creative writing) from Hofstra University in Hempstead, NY. After college, he remained in the New York City area to expand his professional experience in graphic design.

Now residing in Connecticut, Sahm has done his best to be a creative renaissance man. In addition to being an artist, print production guru, and producer of electronic remixes, he is also an author, completing his first novel The Art of Getting Bent in 2005. In addition to that, Sahm designs all of his websites, logos, graphics, and animations. Together with his wife Sharon, they run Somrod Creative, a small endeavor for them to sell their arts and crafts.

Whether running production on a client brochure or designing one of his die-cut artworks, Sahm pursues his projects with a meticulous nature and a zest to produce results. While he can admire what he’s done in his life so far, Mark Sahm is always looking to create something bigger and better than before.
