From 2007 through 2012, I had the privilege to work on the New York Times newspaper ads and NYC Subway posters for the Guggenheim Museum’s upcoming shows. I handled all production, mechanicalizing, and prepress. This included significant photo retouching, as all ad imagery had to adjusted for the ink density going on either newsprint or posterboard. All examples shown were full-page color ads in the New York Times Arts section, followed by the large signage posters displayed inside the cars of the New York City Subway.
